Would you like to understand your emotions better?
This summer we have a fantastic opportunity for anyone aged 12 - 14 to join us for a week long programme that is designed to develop self awareness, build a toolkit of coping strategies & communication tools as well as exploring new ways to express emotions.
The programme is packed full of great evidence based content and creative activities that make the learning purposeful and fun but that’s not all……participants will also have the opportunity each day to take part in an additional enrichment activity that has been specifically chosen to introduce a variety of opportunities to express, cope and manage our emotions. These taster sessions will include activities such as art journaling, sound meditation and movement and will be delivered by visiting specialists. The exact line up is still to be confirmed but we are thrilled to be able to tell you that Emily Louise from Emily Louise Sound and Yoga is confirmed and will be running an empowering workshop designed specifically for youth aged 9-14 years old, focusing on stress, anxiety reduction, relaxation techniques, and building self-confidence.
Participants will be welcomed by two friendly and experienced facilitators who, as well as their professional expertise, bring their own lived experience. Breakfast, snacks, and a light lunch will be provided each day and there will be lots of opportunities to connect with other young people who might be experiencing similar challenges.
